Brandywine Valley Chorale was founded in June 2007 by a group of Brandywine Valley musicians, arts supporters, and friends. The BVC was created to add the art and beauty of choral music to the fine arts repertoire that is available in our area. Today, approximately forty auditioned members strong, this fine group of men and women perform semi-annually throughout the lovely Brandywine Valley Region, including Unionville, West Chester, Kennett Square, and Wilmington.

The Chorale consists of men and women ages 18 and older who share a commitment to excellence, a passion for music, and a desire to serve their community. The BVC is fortunate to have the wonderful and growing support of area businesses, organizations, and individuals who make our expression of choral art possible. Just as our Brandywine Valley Region is rooted in rich beauty and culture, the Chorale reflects its surroundings by performing fine music and building our area’s tradition as an exceptional center for performing arts.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to foster and share the art of choral music, as well as serve the Brandywine Valley community, through the pursuit of musical excellence in a wide variety of repertoire and performance opportunities.
