The BVC celebrates the holiday season with an energetic mix of traditional and contemporary Yuletide compositions. The program features two pieces written for choir and brass; Vidimus Stellam (We Have Seen His Star), a Christmas cantata composed by Kevin Siegfried; and the captivating Gloria in Excelsis Deo by Kevin A. Memley. The Chorale will be joined by the wonderful DelcoBrass Quintet!
Other highlights include compositions by beloved British choral artists Sir John Rutter and Sir George Shearing, with a musical collaboration between carol composer Abbie Betinis and celebrated poet Michael Dennis Browne. Additional festive works and sing-alongs complete the concert.
